A private CDL training school can be a great option for someone who has a bunch of money to spend up front for their CDL training. If you do not have thousands of dollars to spend, but have good credit and can borrow the money this can also be a good option. Privately owned trucking schools are in the business of training students to get their CDL so the chances of you passing this kind of training are probably better.

You will have no obligation to work for a trucking company for a year with this type of training although some companies may offer you tuition reimbursement if you stay for a year or meet certain criteria.

You will need to make sure you can get job placement assistance from private schools like this or your money may have just gone in the garbage can. As with most CDL training options there are no guarantees.
