The process of finding a good CDL training school can be challenging and time consuming. There are several different types of truck driver training programs to choose from and finding the right one that will meet all your needs is the challenging part.

A new driver that gets a CDL without having a trucking job lined up with a company that will recognize the training school he attended has a CDL that is worthless! With each passing week of unemployment it will become less than worthless. This happens all too often to entry level truck drivers in this industry looking for quick CDL training without looking around at all the options.

Some schools known as CDL mills will promise students a trucking job verbally but nowhere in the contract and this is something to watch out for. Almost all CDL training programs, with the exception of a community college, have fast paced training programs. Many students will fall behind and be let go. There is no guarantee you will even pass the training.
